Pastor Gary Reiss - Senior Pastor
Growing up in a Christian home, Gary knew early in my life that God loved him and had sent His Son Jesus to die on a Cross for our sins. So as a young child he opened his life to Him and He began His work in Gary. As a teen Gary began sensing that God was calling him to ministry and realized that would mean a full surrender of his life to Him. Gary struggled with that for a period of time, but realized that the only way he would be truly happy in life was living in obedience to God. Gary has found that to be true. It is a joy to serve the Lord.
While attending Mount Vernon Nazarene University in preparation for ministry, he met his wife Tammy who has been a tremendous partner in ministry and a strength to him. They were married in 1980 and now have 3 grown boys, two of whom are married to wonderful young women. Gary and Tammy are now proud grandparents after the birth of their first grandchild, Zachary. Gary graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1984 and has served in pastoral ministry for over 27 years.
One of Gary’s great joys is seeing people (children, teens and adults) come to faith in Christ and seeing them grow in love for Him and in their depth of commitment to Him.

Lonny Aleshire, Sr. - Associate Pastor
At the age of 12, Pastor Lonny asked Jesus Christ into his heart following a Sunday School lesson taught my his father. Later as a teenager, Lonny knew God was calling him to pastoral ministry. This call was not obeyed until later in life when he could not find peace and yielded to the Lord’s call. The first call was for training, so he returned to school to prepare for pastoral ministry. Pastor Lonny has served in ministry for more than 35 years - as minister of music for 10 years and as pastor for 25 years and experiences great joy serving God through teaching and preaching God’s message of love.
Pastor Lonny and his wife Donna have been married for 47 wonderful years and have been blessed with two children, four grandchildren (and one grandchild in heaven) and a daughter-in-law who are all believers in Jesus and faithfully serve the Lord. Their daughter Lonna Sue now lives in the presence of God as a result of an auto accident. Lonny and Donna have learned that even when faced with great loss and problems, God is always faithful to meet needs. Pastor Lonny would encourage all that God does hear and answer prayer. His vision for PCN is continued growth and ministry as a result of God’s people working, praying, and serving and believes our faithfulness will be rewarded by God.
