There have been some wonderful changes at Pataskala Church of the Nazarene!
We were very sad to see our longtime senior pastor, Rev. Dan Stires take his retirement in late 2011. At the same time we wish him well and pray that the Lord will continue to pour out his blessings on Dan, Dru, and their family.
All the while the Lord's plan was working. And in January 2012 we were joined by Pastor Gary and Tammy Reiss as our new Senior Pastor. We are very excited to have them here to lead and minister to us and our community. God has great things in store for us and we are really looking forward to it.
During 2011 we also looked at some demographics of our community. What shocked us was that 65% of our neighbors identified themselves as unattached to any church. Well over half of our community is not attached to any church. That is both sad and a tremendous opportunity. We will be making efforts to reach out and try to lower that number.
