At the Pataskala Church of the Nazarene, the focus of our Worship is on Jesus Christ. We truly believe that First Time Attenders are here by a divine appointment. Our church family has been praying for each and every first time attender that the Lord would lead them here and reveal any needs they may have for Gods precious touch.

When you enter you will find a warm welcome in a relaxed environment. You will be greeted in our foyer by members of our Care Team, whose job it is to make you feel at home, with as little or as much attention as you desire.

Our Music

Our worship services offer a blend of Contemporary Praise and Worship Choruses as well as traditional hymns, utilizing our Big Screen visual system to allow you to view the words to the music without being encumbered by holding a Hymnal or Chorus sheet. Feel free to clap, raise your hands, or simply close your eyes and bask in the presence of the Lord. Our Praise and Worship is led by our worship team of singers and instrumentalists as well as our dedicated Celebration Choir. Each week the Celebration Choir blesses our service with special music.

Our Atmosphere

Our worship services are held in our Multi-Purpose "Naz-Dome", which has flexible seating, that facilitates its use as a Worship Center as well as Fellowship Hall, Gymnasium and many other things. At Pataskala Nazarene, we focus not on what others are wearing but on a collective encounter with the Lord Jesus. You will find those in their traditional "Sunday Best" , enjoying the company of someone in dockers, jeans and even leather jackets and t-shirts.

The Message

Each week our Senior Pastor, Rev. Dan Stires, delivers the anointed message that the Lord has laid on his heart. Visual outlines for the sermon are provided both in the printed bulletin as well as on the big screen. Pastor Dan's messages are always a wonderful blend of Biblical Principles, life changing words of truth, laced with humor and delivered in a personal manner which leaves each and every person in the service feeling they have personally been ministered to.

Offerings and Giving

The Lord commands us in Malachi 3:10, Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house...". Therefore during each service, as an act of obedience to God's word, our ushers will take up the morning tithes and offerings. This is considered an act of Worship for those who already call this Church home. Guests and visitors are never made to feel that they must give. We strongly believe that the act of giving will be laid on each and every persons heart in the Lords time. Relax, our church family is here to show you Christ's love.

Our Children

For those families with children, our Children's Welcome Center is located in the Foyer where you can register your children, find out information about the classes and even be shown to your child's classroom. You will then be able to worship in comfort knowing where your children are and that they will be released from the care of our children's workers only to you. You will be given a silent pager which will be used to discreetly summon you should your child need you during the worship service. During worship services, all entries to our facility are secured from outside entry with the exception of our foyer, which is monitored by our Usher staff. Children's programs are offered on Sunday mornings for ages Birth to Fourth grade.

Small Groups/Christian Education

Wednesday Family Hour 7:00pm

For our children under age 3 we have lots of love and care to give them in our nursery. Children age 3 through 4th grade are encouraged to join us for Kid’s Club, an exciting midweek program where kids grow in their relationship with Jesus! Fifth and sixth graders won’t want to miss out on an exciting time of sharing and learning in T.G.I.F., our special ministry for preteens. The Celebration choir practices on Wednesday nights in the Choir Room. The Choir is open to new members. For more information on joining the Choir, Contact the Church Office or click here for the Music Department Web page.

The Way For Students (Youth Ministries) also meets on Wednesday evenings in the youth room. For more information on Click on the Icon Below

For the adults there is a Wednesday evening Bible study that is held in Room 203 of the Church. This session is led by different members of the Pastoral Staff as well as Volunteers.
